Your new home at Eliston is in the perfect spot to take advantage of the activities in the local area this month! Here are some of our favourites happening in the City of Casey.

Pop-Up Playgroup

When: Wednesday 2, 9 & 16 August 2017, 9:30am-11:30am
Where: 70 Wheelers Park Drive, Cranbourne North 3977
What: The City of Casey is hosting free ‘pop-up and play’ sessions. Come along and enjoy playgroup activities with your child, including block and imaginary play, music, art, reading and active play. Don’t forget your hats and snacks!

Please note in the event of extreme weather the venue will change to: Arbourlea Family and Children’s Centre, Wheeler Park Drive Cranbourne North.

Cost: Free!
Who can attend: Parents with young children

DJs Market

Where: 21A Bermersyde Drive, Berwick 3806
What: Come down and support your local community at DJs Market. On the 1st Saturday of the month.

Winter Arts Festival: Imagine – an exhibition by Hallam Senior College

When: Thursday 10 August 2017, 6-8pm
Where: 74-84 Frawley Road, Hallam 3803
What: ‘Imagine’ is an exhibition of work created by Year 10 and 11 students at Hallam Senior College. Come and see works from students in Art, Photography, Media, Sculpture, Music and Drama.
Cost: Free

Winter Campfire & Movie Night

AUGUST4

When: Friday 25 August 2017, 6-9pm
Where: Selandra Community Place, 2 Forest Drive, Clyde North 3977
What: Come and spend a cold winter’s night keeping warm at SCP, bring your blanket and a pillow. Toast a marshmallow on the campfire, grab some popcorn and enjoy the movie.

Winter Arts Festival: Sing into Spring with Casey Choir

AUGUST5

When: Sunday 27th August 2017, 2-4:30pm
Where: 3 New Holland Drive, Cranbourne 3977
What: Casey Choir invites you to join and hear their 2017 programme. Some musical theatre, pop, classical and world music will all be included, followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea. A special guest artist will be joining the choir on the evening.

This will be held in the Performing Arts Centre at Casey Grammar School.

Cost: Adults $25, Concession $20, Children 12 and under FREE!
